I will be fighting at 170 and I was just wondering how strong i should be. anybody have an idea of what i should be able to bench, squat, or deadlift? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't put to much into those numbers you are not entering a powerlifting tournament. I would say at least your own bodyweight for each of the three exercises if you want an exact number but being stronger will not hurt. If you are looking for a strength and conditioning coach i can help you out with a program that will get you strong and ready for your fight. Let me know if you want the help

strong enough to manipulate YOURSELF around someone elses body. strength is strength....its just a small attribute to the game. Speed .. stamina... flexability.. timing... is what killz

this guy out weighs me by 105lbs. and is much bigger and stronger than i am. dont play into someones strengths.. utilize YOURS

strength is only withing what your able tpo do with your self if you can lift you own body weight numerous amounts of time and have good grapplers strength then you be fine in mma you need functional strength strength you can use move and exploded with not unconvetiobnal body builder stremgth think gymnist martial artist not muscle head
