Fedor or Rogers, final thoughts guys....
Okay, who's it gonna be. I think Rogers brings something special to the cage. I think Rogers has got this, he's gonna land one of his cruise missiles and KO Fedor. He also has been working on his ground game. I just don't see Fedor controlling this guy, he's big, young and has so much explosive strength. Also that mohawk is badass, lol.

And as far as the Arlovski fight goes I dont think it was so much Fedor baiting him but more Arlovski being a idiot and throwing a flying knee with his hands down by his side.

Rogers only chance is to come out swinging for the fences and clip Fedor in the first minute! Fedor is calm, cool and always collected even when getting rocked(Fujita, Randleman, Cro cop and Arlovski) He will catch rogers with a shot to the neck like big Tim and then pounce for Ground and pound or submission. Fedor is going to prove why he is a legend.

the timing from Fedor was good but he wouldnt of knocked him out if Arlovski had his hands up a Rookie mistake by a Vet.

You do raise a good point, however this fight is the best part of 2 years old. Over that time a fighter can improve so much. Also James is a big guy, you know. I really don't think this fight is enough evidence to doubt Brett's takedown defence today.
TonyHow can you not see Fedor controlling this guy? A world combat sambo champion in Fedor who happens to fight guys who are bigger than Rogers, will be able to take Rogers down pretty easily. As you can see in this video, Rogers was taken down by a James Thompson within a minute of the fight. Rogers will be toast when Fedor takes him down. If a mediocre fighter like Thompson can take Rogers down, Fedor will have no problem. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Rogers, I like him as a fighter, but Fedor will win.

Well since a fighter can improve so much in two years, what does that say about how much Fedor has improved in the last 9 years? If you can document for me how good Brett's takedown defense is today, I would love to see it, but I guess we might find out soon enough. I'm excited to watch Fedor fight, and happy it's free.
