IM still very new at this but i just wanted to know what is the best way to break the hold when you are doing an arm bar and the guy holds his own arm thanks.

Insert foot either into the area where the forearm and bicep meet and push or insert foot into their grill and push...they probably won't be happy with the 2nd option though so be careful, ha ha.
