Hello Greek-jitsu. That is a awsome run time. Trust me the runs in this workout is the easy part.I am not a fast runner, maybe 8min mlies, I am 5ft 5in,LOL. run the mile then do all the exercise's without breaking it up, you must finish one before moving to the other finished by the last mile run. It is a smoker of a workout. With you running under 5 min miles and you can get through 100 pull ups and 200 push ups and 300 squats and then the last mile you should have a great time.Enjoy and hope to see your time. This workout is called MURPHY, Named after LT.Michael Murphy U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. killed in action in afghanistan.Enjoy,Mike.

How do you do the squats??

Reply to This

Hello there brother, Just do deep free squats without weight. As long as your hip flexer dips below the top of your thigh you are deep enough, plus you are doing 300 reps so it is a burner. Remember this workout is for time so you want to do them right and not lose form for time.Make sure the push ups are chest to floor and full lockout.pull ups, well get chin over the bar.I hope you have fun with this workout it is great for conditioning for BJJ.Thanks.Mike

Hello There, Just a warm up. that is funny,LOL. the whole workout took me 48:35. some of the best MMA conditioned guys takes them 35 to 40 min to complete.Only rested if i needed too for a few seconds, remember this is for your best time. Thanks brother for the reply.Mike

Wow.... just the squats start to burn at around the 30 mark.. pull ups burn around the 15 mark.. Not to mention the run after the squats when your quads are on fire.. ouch.. gotta try it though.
