Probably wont be a popular post

I was just wondering...I was watching the fight the other night and I noticed BJ reach down and wipe his hand on the face of Shawn Sherk, wipe some blood from his face and then lick it.

I was disgusted by this. IT really shows to everyone watching what type of individual BJ Penn really is. I hope he regrets doing this in the face of adrenalin and hype. It was pretty low, disrespectful and unethical. Personally I thought it was kind of psychotic. Very weird to do.

This post I bet will be deleted. I hope not, if he feels warranted on his actions he wil leave it on.

So my question is, why BJ did you do this?

Did you watch the interview that BJ did after the Stevenson fight when he was asked the same question. Have you been watching the events that led up to this fight? Alot of it is hype, making for a good fight. Bj is the man and what he does in the ring is his own choice. Standing in front of someone who is trying with everything they have to kick your ass is one thing. Beating the piss out of them first is an unmatched high. What BJ did was show everyone that he has changed and that he deserves everything he has now, and why he will be immortalized in mma history. I hope I dont get no haters on me for this but this is just a "what if". I know Sean passed his piss test but "What if" Sean set himself up to lose and took roids right before the fight knowing that BJ was going to lick Seans blood, saliva etc, an after the fight, they have Penn take a piss test and Penn test's positve for roids!!!! How would that go. An please I am not hating on Penn I am a total fan but it crossed my mind. How low would that be? Can you get roids from blood transfer?; ▶ Reply to This

Sherk for months was talking about how he had no respect for Penn and all of that other non-sense. I would have rather he not of done it unless the blood was already on his glove, but to each his own, and Penn has certainly done enough to be able to make his own decision on it.
He did show a ton of respect and character when he told Sherk that he could train with Penn whenever he wanted. Penn IS class.

Although I must say it's just gross to lick someone elses blood... I understand blood is in the sport, but to try and lick it is just... Yuck... But that's what makes BJ Penn who he is... That and being freakishly dominant at everything in the octagon...; ▶ Reply to This
