Forrest Griffin Talks Retirement, UFC Future and More

TUF 1 champion and former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Forrest Griffin retired from active competition last weekend following the UFC 160 pay-per-view event.

In this video he explains the retirement announcement and what is next for him inside the UFC organization.

    It was time. He was a great fighter, drew many into the sport (me included) but his interest in fighting seemed to wane lately. Good choice to go

    Not sure if once you go into the HOF you can never compete again but we could see Forrest again if he is still eligible to come back. at 33 he can have a couple injury free years and get back in it. Most of these guys leaving the sport still train daily. Like Rashad, motivation seems to be a problem for some of these UFC pioneers.
