“I think its stylistically a good matchup for me. I honestly, the thing that’s been getting me in trouble are guys that are quicker than me and beating me to the punch with something I don’t see coming. That’s the problem I’ve had recently. [Sonnen] kind of runs around saying, ‘Hey, I want to fight you, I want to fight you, I want to fight you. If something comes up, I’ll fight whoever on Dec. 29. That’s not true, I won’t fight whoever. I’m actually keeping a laundry list of people I want to fight and people I don’t want to fight. I’m not going to divulge who’s on what list… I just love fighting. I know I’m not the best, but I’m still pretty good, there’s a lot of people I can still beat. What do you do. What else am I supposed to do? I have no other skills. I enjoy doing this. There’s nothing I’d really rather do, you know?”
Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Forrest Griffin, sat down with MMAFighting.com’s “The MMA Hour” yesterday and discussed his upcoming matchup with Chael Sonnen.

Anything can happen in MMA and your still a top fighter, just because you got knock down a few times doesn’t mean you can’t come back if you put the hrs in. The UFC doesn’t induct “b fighters”; the UFC inducts talented fighters. With a class that’s obviously beyond your comprehension. If you’re going to overly state yourself by declaring Forest Griffen is a push over and has no real accomplishments, which you said. But in a different way. Then you need to re-do you’re homework. Forest is a sell out fighter. He boosts big revenue for fights because he has the mantality to fight anyone. Heart of a lion that man has. Would you willingly put yourself in a cage against Shogun, Rashad and Anderson Silva and fight them? The answer is ‘no’ because your’re more than a keyboard warrior. So , stfu, and take you’re theatricals somewhere else

Yeah, he actualy beat shogun when he was AMAZING!!! He just came out of pride where he smashed most of it’s roster! Don’t discredit the guys accomplishments, hrs done very well for him self and MMA in general
