Luke Rockhold open to grappling Georges St-Pierre but doubts the Canadian would accept it: "I’m too big and too good for him"

Luke Rockhold would like to be in the running to grapple Georges S-Pierre in December. It was recently announced that St-Pierre would return to competition as he is set to grapple at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational on Dec. 14. Although no opponent has been announced, several people have expressed interest in it, including Demian Maia. Most recently it was a fellow former UFC champion in Luke Rockhold who threw his name in the hat to be GSP’s grappling opponent.

BKFC light-heavyweight contender Luke Rockhold is looking elsewhere for his next contest. The former UFC middleweight champion left the promotion following a loss to Paulo Costa last August. While Luke Rockhold initially retired from fighting after that loss, he’s since changed his mind. He was later released from the company and signed with BKFC earlier this year.

He even defeated his fierce rival Israel Adesanya to capture the 185-pound gold. “The Last Stylebender” got his revenge, knocking Alex Pereira out cold in their rematch. Pereira has decided to move up to the light heavyweight division. He’ll be taking on former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291.

Slow motion video has been released of the Mike Perry punch that broke the tooth of Luke Rockhold. Rockhold entered the bout with a ton of confidence and in the first round, he landed a solid shot that stunned Perry. From then on, however, Perry brought it to Rockhold and in the second round, ‘Platinum’ landed a punch that sent Rockhold’s tooth flying.

Luke Rockhold was quick to speak out following his TKO loss to Mike Perry at BKFC 41. Rockhold made his bare knuckle boxing debut against Perry. In the second round, Rockhold felt something was off and he brought the state of his jaw to referee Dan Miragliotta’s attention. The fight was waved off and Perry’s bare knuckle boxing record improved to 3-0. This is Perry’s first stoppage win in bare knuckle boxing.
