Fedor Emelianenko Makes UFC 166 Prediction, Blames Dana White For Never Signing With the UFC

“In my opinion, everything was in Dana White’s hands,’ says Emelianenko. “Because at that moment, I just felt like ‘this guy, he just hates us.’ Like, personally to [me]. There were insults coming from Dana White all the time. There were many very loud things said, but for real nothing happened. It was [all talk].”

On UFC 166:

“If Velasquez is going to stick to his usual gameplan, he’s going to come out the winner,” said Emelianenko. “His biggest advantage is that he can transition, he can switch from one [phase] to another. He’s a thinking fighter.”

Come on man. There is no way your gonna make me believe Bumforce gave you a better contract offer than UFC… Dana wanted you to come fight Brock and you and M-1 didn’t want none of Brock… you think the beating Bigfoot Silva gave you was bad Brock woulda smashed you through the mat… This guy had his time in pride but all the UFC dodging and fighting bums the last few yrs tarnished his legacy….

    • markus says:

Your kidding right? Brock lesnar was a joke…fool couldn’t even take a punch without running around and curling into a little ball..fesor would of smashed his face in with a few punches

    • UFC 84 Forever says:

Agreed, it’s pretty clear that he didn’t want Brock when Brock was on top.

    • SGrulez1 says:

Actually just in letting M-1 co-promote with them, Strikeforce gave Fedor a better deal. He owns like 20 or 30 percent of M-1, so any money M-1 was making went right into his pocket. He was offered a three million dollar contract with the UFC. I guarantee he made way more than that by co-promoting with Strikeforce. Oh, and Fedor would have knocked Brock’s head into the third row. I think Bigfoot would have beaten Brock too. He would be too big for Lesnar to just throw around

  2. Noway! says:

It wasnt about the contract, Dana just has a big hole in his face that hes not capable of shutting and thats what Fedor and his camp went off of when making the decision never to go work in the UFC. Noone wants to represent a douche thats misrepresenting you before even given the chance to represent you. Catch my drift? Lets be honest Dana cares about nothing more then his wealth and he’s shown it over and over again by the way he bashes people and easily turns his back on his fighters. Anyways Brock couldnt take a punch and thats the one advantage Fedor had over him, so I disagree with you and believe that Fedor wouldve face raped Brock with his fist.

  3. pk9grrr says:

bj and fedor = real warriors !

  4. drew says:

fedor didn’t want the ufc strap bad enough, he wanted money more then to solidify his legacy. All due respect to the fedor fans but we know pride was rigged for many fights. You never know which fedor fight was rigged. I’m not dissing fedor but the people he faced to get that undefeated record was not that impressive. Then he gets beat by bigfoot…how great was this guy? Hendo showed fedor wasn’t so great after all and hendo is older then him

    • pkgrrr says:

thats an ignorant comment ,even the great ones loose but that doesnt take away from what their acheivements and prowess ..but ok ..fedor lost to big foot who was basically bigger and(these days)smarter and schooled. same went with the werdum fight ,yup he got caught by hendo who is also a legend but hendo has had his share of lossess aswell like jake shields for instant .. with mma today you strip everything down ,tactics, weight and height advantage, politics ,skill etc and you will find who the real fighters are
