Fans Encouraged To Attend Tomorrows Strikeforce Press Conference In San Jose | MMA NEWS
Strikeforce officials are holding a special pre-fight press conference tomorrow in San Jose, Ca. in anticipation of this weekend’s “Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier” event.
After nearly 15-months in the making, the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix will conclude and a champion crowned.
Additionally, current Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez and former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson will square off in a rubber match and complete their historic trilogy.
The pre-fight press conference is set to take place at San Jose’s HP Pavilion and fighters from the main card will take to the stage at noon to field questions from the media in attendance.
Fans in the area are encouraged to attend the free event. Doors open at 11 a.m. PT.
