Fans Encouraged To Attend Next Weeks “UFC 137: Penn vs. Diaz” Pre-Fight Press Conference


The UFC is holding a pre-fight press conference next week on Thursday the 27th to promote next weekend’s UFC 137 pay-per-view card.

Fans are invited to attend the public event in Las Vegas at a yet to be determined venue. The press conference is expected to feature UFC President Dana White as well as main event competitors BJ Penn and Nick Diaz.

“UFC 137: Penn vs. Diaz” is set to take place on October 29th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view event was set to feature a welterweight championship bout between George St Pierre and Carlos Condit. However GSP was forced to withdraw with a knee injury and in his place will come BJ Penn vs. Nick Diaz.

The UFC 137 card breaks down as follows:

• Cheick Kongo vs. Matt Mitrione
• Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson
• Hatsu Hioki vs. George Roop
• Dustin Jacoby vs. Brad Tavares

• Donald Cerrone vs. Dennis Siver
• Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski

PRELIMINARY CARD:
