Evan Dunham vs. Rafael dos Anjos Added to UFC on FX 8 I UFC News
The UFC on FX 8 has added a lightweight fight to its May 18th card in Santa Catarina, Brazil. It recently broke on Brazilian media outlet, Globo.com, hometown fighter, Rafael dos Anjos, will be taking on Evan Dunham.
Dos Anjos (18-6) is coming off three consecutive wins, most recently a unanimous decision win over Mark Bocek. Dunham (14-3), who early in his UFC career saw an incredible rise among the lightweight ranks, has won only 3 of his last 6 fights. His most recent fight was a split decision win over Gleison Tibau in a performance that received some criticism. Dunham asked for dos Anjos specifically in response to some of this criticism.
Other fights on this card include Brazilian natives Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza fighting Luke Rockhold and Constantinos Philippou, respectively.
