Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler Set For Bellator 58

Originally scheduled to defend his title against Michael Chandler at Bellator 54, Eddie Alvarez was forced to withdraw from the meeting with an undisclosed injury.
Now, the two have a new date confirmed by Bellator officials.
With just a five-week postponement, Eddie Alvarez will attempt to defend his title against Michael Chandler on Novembers Bellator 58 card.
Bellator 58 is set to go down from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel $ Casino in Hollywood, Fla, on November 19. The main card features a lightweight title fight between Alvarez and Chandler as well as a middleweight contest between champion, Hector Lombard and Trevor Prangley.
Alvarez is one of the last remaining top-10 fighters not signed to the UFC, he claimed the Bellator title in June of 2009 with a victory over Toby Imada and has looked unstoppable ever since. He has beaten the likes of Josh Neer, Roger Huerta and Pat Curran. He is on a seven-fight win streak and out of his last 13 bouts he has only dropped one contest and it was to Japanese star Shinya Aoki.
Chandler is riding an eight-fight unbeaten streak. A wrestling based fighter hailing from the Xtreme Couture training center, he is the Bellator season-four lightweight tournament winner.

OMG BRING ALVAREZ TO THE UFC ALREADY!! PLEASE AND THANK YOU
Alvarez is good ill give him that, but im not sold on him just yet, im not so sure he could handle the top 5 guys in the UFC LW division. If they bring him over anytime soon, i say give him Donald Cerrone, the cowboy always comes to fight, and has looked great as of late, hes 2 wins away from being in the title picture for sure
