Dong Hyun Kim vs. Sean Pierson Latest Addition To UFC 141

UFC officials have announced the addition of a welterweight bout to Decembers Las Vegas card.
Dong Hyun Kim and Sean Pierson have agreed to meet inside the Octagon on December 30.
UFC 141 is set to take place on Dec. 30 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The end-of-year pay-per-view event will feature a five-round non-title fight between former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and newly signed heavyweight stand-out Alistair Overeem.
“Two talented welterweights on the comeback trail will face off at UFC 141 when Sean Pierson takes on the ‘Stun Gun,’ Dong Hyun Kim,” UFC president Dana White stated.
Kim will look to bounce back from his only career loss. This past July it was current number one contender, Carlos Condit who was able to catch the Korean fighter with a flying knee to the face to earn the knockout.
Pierson last saw the inside of the UFC Octagon at UFC 129 when he suffered a knockout loss at the hands of Jake Ellenberger. The loss snapped his six-fight win streak.
