Diego Nunes Not In A Hurry To Return To The Octagon | UFC News
Diego Nunes in an interview with TATAME.
Nunes has gone (1-2) in his past three bouts losing decisions to Kenny Florian & Dennis Siver and defeating Manvel Gamburyan. However Nunes is in no rush to get back into the octagon for now as he would like to dedicate some time to his family.
“I’m cool. After this fight I decided to spend some time with my family. I stayed a long time away from home, so I decided to see them and I’m not in a jury to comeback. They offered me a fight few days ago, but I decided not to accept it and also I’m not training right now. I want to take things slowly. I want to be well trained when I accept a fight.”
When asked about his return to training as well as where he would conduct the sessions Nunes plans on training at the Black House but wants to train in Colorado first.
“I have some trips ahead of me and I was thinking Black House at the end of the (training) season. First I wanna go to Colorado. A friend of ours, a super champion in Thailand, asked me to train there with him. I was thinking Colorado then Los Angeles.”
