Diaz believes GSP is on ‘Plenty’ of steroids | UFC NEWS
It seriously just keeps getting better between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz. After the UFC 158 press conference Diaz went on SportsNet 590 radio and accused GSP of using steroids.
“Sure, I believe [Georges St-Pierre] is on plenty of steroids and I don’t think they test around here, either. I doubt I’ll be tested, as well. I don’t care what they’re saying or marketing to the media. I don’t think either of us are going to be tested. And if so, he’s probably got a bottle of piss in his pocket. I doubt they’re standing over him, making sure he’s not on steroids.”
Diaz is not the first fighter to accuse the current UFC Welterweight champion of using steroids, or other cheating methods. Josh Koscheck leading up to his fight with GSP at UFC 124 had this to say:
“From what I’ve heard from other fighters in other camps, yeah, [St-Pierre] has done steroids and HGH, possibly,” Koscheck told MMAjunkie.com. “I don’t know. This is just on hearsay information that I’ve gotten.”
Another opponent that accused GSP of using steroids is BJ Penn. In 2009 the two-time UFC champion had this to say to Yahoo Sports:
“It’s just my opinion that he uses steroids,” Penn told Yahoo Sports. “That’s it. My opinion. I do believe it. I can’t hand you any proof, but that’s my opinion.”
In their rematch at UFC 94 Penn’s camp also accused GSP of ‘greasing’. Both accusations were denied by GSP. Even UFC President Dana White has said he believes GSP’s corner man was greasing him up during the fight against Penn.
The common response by fans, and White, is that he has never failed a drug test. I am not saying he did cheat or didn’t cheat, but Lance Armstrong never failed a drug test either. GSP should be given the benefit of the doubt until definitive proof is presented. Otherwise it is all hearsay.

It would be the UFC loss. He is the most hated/liked fighter in the UFC, like it or not. What does it say about a sport when you can Juice all day and nothing happens, yet you smoke a joint and your banned. LOL. Does baseball or football give a TRT examption? I think not. I wouldnt mind watching Diaz in Bellator anyways. Atleast they dont point to win.
It will be another boring gsp laying on top fight
“A sport where you can juice all day but get banned for smoking a joint”
The athletic commissions are in charge of those things, not the UFC. You honestly think Dana would have laid Overreem off for a year in loom of possibly the biggest heavyweight fight of all time? Dana said himself that it’s stupid you get the SAME suspension for weed that you do for roids, but you gotta play the game the way it’s played, not the way you want to play it.
That is why i said “a sport” and not “in the UFC”. The Nevada Commission is a joke, run by cheaters.

My money is on GSP retaining the title but I respect Diaz skills, I see a unanimous decision victory to GSP.
