Derek Brunson vs. Ronny Markes added to UFC on FUEL TV 10 | UFC NEWS
The UFC on FUEL TV 10 card is starting to fill up and it’s really shaping up to be a good card. Derek Brunson (10-2) and Ronny Markes (14-1) have been added to the card in a Middleweight match-up.
Brunson, who came over from Strikeforce, is coming into the fight after beating Chris Leben at UFC 155. He most likely kept himself on the UFC roster with that victory. It is imperative that he continues his winning ways if he is to stay employed by the UFC. The 3-time Division II All-American wrestler will look to utilize his ground skills to take him to victory.
Markes will be looking to add another reason to why he should be considered one of the best at Middleweight in the UFC. He is currently on a three fight winning streak in the UFC, and a 7 fight win streak overall. His most recent victory came against Andrew Craig at UFC on FX 7.
The fight will be taking place on June 8th in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil at the Paulo Sarasate Gymnasium on the UFC on FUEL TV 10 card. The Main Event of the night will be pitting the Ultimate Fighter: Brazil Season 2 coaches; Fabricio Werdum vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
