A featherweight bout between TUF 14 runner up Dennis Bermudez and UFC veteran Pablo Garza has been added to the UFC on FOX 3 roster.

UFC officials announced the news yesterday.

UFC on FOX 3 is set to take place in New Jersey from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford on May 5. In the main event lightweights Nate Diaz and Jim Miller will throw down in a five-round non-title fight.

Bermudez looked pretty unstoppable during his “Ultimate Fighter 14” run but he hit a road block in the season finals when the relentless Diego Brandao submitted him in a very entertaining back and forth fight. Despite his run in the house, Bermudez finds himself on a three-fight losing streak entering his first Post-TUF fight.

Garza is as tough as they come. After three fights under the UFC banner he has but one loss and that came in his last outing during the UFC on FOX event where he was submitted by top contender Dustin Poirier. This featherweight fighter was undefeated until signing with ZUFFA where he lost his debut WEC fight against Zhang Tiequan. (Continue to next page for the Editors Breakdown on this fight.)
