He didnt almost finish Benevidez… Lol. Benevidez almost finished HIM
Almost finished with a knee that missed? Well shit chael sonnen almost finished anderson silva with a spinning back fist, Dan hardy almost finished GSP with a overhand right, Forrest griffen almost finished silva with a flurry that silva dodged, silva almost finished maia and leites with punches he could have thrown and BJ penn could have finished Edgar with anyone of his missed shots…. Who let you write articles?
Funniest comment that I’ve ever read!!!
Good on ya Mighty Mouse and Benavides you two put on a good fight congrats to Johnson on the win
i hate how johnson fights hes pretty much playing running man. he’s afriad to trade with anyone toe to toe. i also doubt that knee would of finished benavidez
I agree! I’m not a fan of his fight style. He’ll hold that belt for a minute the way he fights.
he fights the same as dominic cruz…people like him,,i think he is a fukin joke,,either this 125 shits could beat him
Sorry but Dominic Cruz is a WAYYYY better fighter than “Mighty Mouse”. He has way better technique and will sit in the pocket while dodging punches… Mighty mouse runs around the outside of the ring and counterpunches, while Dom will control the center of the octagon. You just have no respect for the game or technique. Why don’t you just go watch Bellator or something so you can see knockout after knockout with no technique..
Man good fight, Benivides couldn’t help but
chase. It’s like a little dog that bites your
ankle and then just barely stays out of range.
thats why you gotta punt it when it gets within range.
even though I wouldn’t have booed during this fight… it was a bit boring.
It was not boring.mighty mouse not engaging that much annoyed me a little.his takedowns were beautiful tho.the fight was pretty good, benevidez was bringing it.
I definitely wasn’t booing during the fight, but I was very disappointed. If you’re going to draws and split decisions in a title tournament, you should change your style. Benavidez always goes for the finish, and it sucks he couldn’t get it. Now, Mighty Mouse will be a poor representation of the flyweight division, as it will look like guys bouncing around slapping eachother for 25 minutes. Johnson will be just like the one man to use that technique better than he does, he’ll become the flyweight Dominick Cruz with his pitter-patter point punches.
Was a very annoying disappointing fight. Never liked Mighty Mouse, hate his fighting style and how he represents himself and how he’s repping the flyweights with his style. He looked like a hyper little kid slapping and kicking and running around the whole time. Also seriously what is with that weird poses he does when they announce him. They look so stupid and then he was doing them as Dana was trying to put the belt on him.
Whats with all the hate? When two fighters are so evenly matched then a lot of time it is just them cancelling out each others offense. Mighty Mouse isnt a boring fighter by any means, he is ridicoulsy fast and doesnt have 1 punch KO power, so you have to be technical and cant get sucked into a brawl.
I wanted Benavidez to win, I’m not worried, they’ll eventually fight again, and hopefully Benavidez will win in exciting fashion, no disrespect to mighty mouse at all, just not a fan of his fighting style.
Oh so these are the morons Dana was talking about, people who can’t appreciate a technical fight or fighter there was only one sub par fight on this card and it was Hamil vs. Hollet
The card was pretty card.but that hamil fight was not sub par at all..LOL.that fight was really boring.
Oops my bad,the card was pretty GOOD!LOL
Almost finished him with a knee that missed? WTF does that mean?
