Forrest’s only chance in this fight is that he catches Sonnen in a submission. Otherwise, Sonnen will outbox him (considering Forrest is already gassed by the time the cage door closes) and lay him on his back.
I see this going to decision, because Forest is a tough guy to finish when the fight isn’t being thrown. But if it does get finished, I see either a TKO for Sonnen, or Submission for Griffin.

Forrest Griffin already beat Chael before he had any real TDD by (you guessed it) triangle choke. Griffin’s boxing is better, he’s massive in comparison, and he has great footwork for a light heavyweight (imagine Michael Bisping + 20lbs). Further, Forrest is awesome off his back and let’s face it; Chael isn’t exactly the best at submission defense.

who the hell is betting for sonnen? sonnen is a natural 205, but griffin is a HUGE 205 who is said to cut down from roughly 220 pounds. besides being bigger, he has an underated ground game, he submitted shogun for **** sakes, and everyone knows sonnens weak point is submission defense. to add to all this, griffin has better standup, at the moment is more used to fighting lightheavyweights, and has great cardio. so **** these odds.
