Daniel Sarafian vs. Eddie Mendez Added to UFC on Fuel TV 10 | UFC NEWS
A middleweight bout between Daniel Sarafian and Eddie Mendez is slated for UFC on Fuel TV 10, as reported by Tatame.com. This card is headlined by a heavyweight fight between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Verdum, as well as the finals for The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2. The UFC has not officially announced where the fight will take place on the night’s card.
Sarafian (7-3) is a finalist from The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, though he was forced out of the finals with an injury. He is coming off a recent split decision loss to C.B. Dolloway, but prior to that fight he had four consecutive wins.
His opponent, Eddie Mendez (7-0-1), will be making his UFC debut on the card, which will take place June 8th in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil.
