Dana White/UFC Has Cut Off Contact With Former Champ GSP

“Georges St. Pierre said he wants to go handle his stuff and take some time off. We haven’t talked about Georges St. Pierre since. We haven’t called Georges St. Pierre. We’re letting Georges St. Pierre have his time. If Georges St. Pierre decides he wants to come back and fight, then he can come back and fight. If he doesn’t? Me and Lorenzo are flying down to L.A. to see Anderson … just to go see him, because he’s been injured. If Anderson Silva never wants to fight again, that’s up to him.”

In a recent statement released to, UFC President, Dana White, explained the relationship going forward with former UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre.

Kinda of a misleading title. It doesn’t sound as dramatic or negative as implied…

  2. John Doe says:

They’re pretty much saying f him and his problems. That the reason he left doesn’t matter and is unjustified and that he’s not hurt so he shouldn’t leave. . . Dana’s only after the money. . Pathetic

  3. Michael Blue says:

The writers for this page are really destroying it’s credibility!

  4. Jay Rock says:

You guys are all crazy. It’s a journalist’s job to grab your attention with the title of an article. I guess none of you ever went to school.

  5. Live and Uncut says:

He might as well change his headline to “Obama decides to launch nuclear bombs on Lorenzo Fertittas casinos after dispute about Obamacare being forced upon the UFC fighters”
If he is going to be missleading then he might as well go all in.. Imo

  6. Jen says:

I agree with John Doe…but now that it comes out that GSP walked away because they wouldn’t enforce drug testing….no wonder they aren’t talking to him. All they want is the money….to h*** with respect for the fighter…they just don’t want dirty laundry hung out. UFC needs to grow some and enforce testing…all sports do…is this not a sport?
