Dana Whites Ear Surgery May Require Him To Learn To Walk Again | UFC News

Dana White talks to Inside MMA about a rare inner ear disease he suffers from called meniere’s disease.
“I’m lobbying hard for this surgery. The surgery isn’t the cure. The surgery, they go in and they basically cut the nerve. So you have to learn to walk again. You have to go through serious rehabilitation. You have to learn how to do everything again. But I’m willing to have that done. I’ll go in, I’ll go hardcore rehab for the next three weeks. I’m a special case, in that the surgery makes sense for me, whereas it might not for other people my age.”

Great attitude in facing this challenge. I have no clue about this disease, but from Dana White’s explanation, it sounds terrible. Wishing him the best.
daaamn that is so shitty.. that would suck to have to learn how to do everything again. i bet he wont be as good at swearing at press conferences and disrespecting his fighters. but i hope his surgery goes well and he comes back strong

That being said… not sure meniere’s is the ‘the most horrible thing you could ever go through’ like Dana says, pretty sure that is reserved for the cancer wing at Childrens Hospital, or the Burn ward or amputee’s at the VA hospital…
Pretty sure you’ll still be a dick after the surgery, but good luck with everything should it happen!
Not a Dana fan these days to much BS from him but saying that he is a major part of UFC and the publicity, don’t wish him any illness, he’l be back soon enuff won’t want any1 else takin the limelight!
