I agree, I usually think Dana White is on point but this time I don’t think he is. DJ definitively won that fight but JD put up a hell of one. I can’t wait for the rematch if it happens.

Pettis needs to fight Maynard or Miller first IMO. But great let him fight Bendo or Melendez. They will expose him like Guida did. This kid will never be a champion in the UFC.

I was thinking the same thing as Dana. DJ did wear Dotson out and dominate the last 2 rounds and even won the 3rd. That illegal knee should of been a point deduction tho. Dotson won rounds 1 and 2 and with the illegal knee point in the 3rd, the fight should of been a draw. That’s the way it should been scored even tho it seems that DJ owned and beat him down in the last 3 rounds. Good fight anyway.
Pettis did have to jump off the cage to squeak by Bendo in the first match. Pettis will need something spectacular to get the belt again.
Just because you can show of some flashy shit and get lucky and land one don’t mean your prepared to take out the division and reighn. If that
was the care he would of taken out Guida no problem but he didnt. Not like Bendo did anyways.
pettis will never beat henderson. lost to guida, split decision jeremy stevens whos never been in title contention, and finally got two solid wins as of late. let him have his shot and get out wrestled and move on.
Pettis has one of the top 3 triangles in the division, scratch that, top 3 guards in the division. He’ll be just fine against a wrestler. Besides he’s got the best wrestler in MMA at his camp now so he’ll be prepared for anything.
It’s funny how all you guys talk sh*t about Pettit saying he needs to fight miller! Miller just beat louzan almost lost at the end of the fight and Pettit finished him in under 2 f*cking minutes ! Pettis will give Henderson the best fight of anyone in the lightweight title ! Guaranteed
MMA math doesnt work. But I do agree Pettis clearly deserves the next shot seeing as he beat Bendo already. IMO he should be next to fight him and Melendez should fight Maynard first. Not saying Melendez doesn’t deserve an instant title shot but Pettis has waited so long and still is the WEC champ so he should get it first.

Haha no it’s from the state farm commercial. But my name is jake. I think you forgot how good Pettit is off his back! And he’s had 2 years to practice his wresting with duke roufus. He might have expected to steam roll thought guida and expected a stand up war!!!! But guida fought like a damn puss and grinded out a decision win like he tried to so against Maynard when they fought! Pettit will be ready for anything bendo will be able to through on the table! He beat him standin once but he will be ready to fight off his back if he has to!!
