Dana White Names The UFC's Top 5 Pay-Per-View Stars | UFC NEWS

Last weekend during the UFC 152 post-fight press conference UFC President Dana White confirmed to all in attendance his top 5 pay-per-view draws.
While the UFC maintains its firm stance on not revealing its PPV buy-rates, the UFC boss was frustrated with a recent report from the Toronto Sun which listed several reasons why the UFC’s popularity was on the decline.
Mix the report with the mixed reviews following the night’s co-main event and Dana had an agenda to prove to all who would listen.
So who made the list? Well, according to the boss his top drawing fighters are Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans.
Anyone surprised?

i’m surprised to see Rashad’s name on the list.
agreed. The other ones were no brainers but Rashad is more than a little surprising. Idk who I would place over him but I’m sure if I stopped to figure it out there’s quite a few above him
Please, stop and figure it out seeing how you know more then Dana.
Hahahaha awesome.
1 person I would consider for that list other than Rashad would be JDS? And I wish Chael had kept his word and actually left the sport of MMA. #alltalkbro
Anderson never accepted Chael’s deal and turned down the Superbowl weekend fight. Therefore the deal was off. Chael kept his word.
Doesn’t matter what Dana says, someone or multiple poeple on this website will argue till the cows come home that it is in fact Co<k Chestner who is the top PPV draw. And the attributing factor for that is simple, blind hate… it runs deep here on BJPenn.com for GSP.
JDS should be on this list after his next fight with Cain, that’s if he knocks him out again.
It’s based on PPV buys, not skill
Ok i understand Silva, Gsp, Jones, and Rashad..but come on .. Sonnen ? before UFC 117 no one know about this guy ..he used silva to get his name out there in both bouts … so i wont rele say he’s a big ppv seller unless he rele gets to fight someone like jones … but i do think JDS should be up there soon and Aldo …
What did he forget about Lesnar that quick?!?!? Lesnar was a bigger PPV draw than all of um
that’s probably because he was in the WWE. In a sense that’s a good thing because many people including myself started watching MMA when he became champ and now I have a lot more knowledge on MMA and love the sport. Also realized that Brock Lesnar was a shitty overall fighter but a great wrestler.
I’m surprised bj is not above rashad
So 1st place talent and in 2nd personalitie
Makes sense after eavesdropping on so many
conversations on this site. At least talent was
in 1st.
You would think Frankie Edgar or maybe one of the Diaz brothers would be on there over Rashad Evans.
I lied. The list is actually
1. Dana White
2. Dana White
3. Dana White
4. Dana White
and
5. Dana White
I am the only one that matters
Rashad really what about JDS
CHAEL SONNEN is in the list but he received a different pay check cmon DANA.. give CHAEL some credit and give him what he deserves..
Has JDS headlined a PPV yet?
