Dan Hardy Set To Battle Amir Sadollah in Nottingham | UFC NEWS
The UFC on Fuel TV 5 fight card is seemingly growing by the hour. Dan Hardy is returning home to Nottingham, England to take on Amir Sadollah. The fight is rumored to take place at the September 29th when the UFC returns to Hardy’s hometown. Hardy will be fighting in England for the first time since 2008.
Dan Hardy is coming into the bout looking to pick up his second consecutive victory. Hardy had lost his previous four fights before beating Duane Ludwig at UFC 146 via KO. “The Outlaw” is attempting to stay on the winning path against a very tough Amir Sadollah.
Sadollah is also coming off a win in his previous Octagon appearance. He defeated Jorge Lopez via Split Decision at UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Dustin Porier. Sadollah has won three of his last four fights and is seeking to stay in contention and climb the ladder in the welterweight division.
UFC: Nottingham is scheduled to feature a heavyweight matchup, when Stefan “SkyScrapper” Struve will take on undefeated Stipe Miocic.

A lot of people counted hardy out when he fought Ludwig.and not just cause he won,but I honestly thought he was gonna win that fight.his back was against the wall and he had some time off after the Lytle fight.i knew he was gonna come in to that fight motivated and focused.and when fighters have bad losing streaks and seem like it’s over for them the fans turn there back on them quick,even if the fans like the fighter.like the fans are so fake,they only like u if ur winning.Now that hardy won impressively,OMG!hardy will kill sadollah.nobody was saying that against Duane.alot of people thought he was gonna wreck hardy.now all of sudden Hardy’s the man.fans are so fake.as a true fan I stick by my fav fighters win or lose.sorry for the essay,had to get it all out.hardy by KO!!

Hardy is the perfect example of Zuffa and White in their political bullshit they do to grow the UFC in different markets. Hardy was given to GSP for 2 reasons. One and MOST importantly, to grow mma in UK so they could have a hero to route for, and TWO: To give GSP an easy fight to keep him around for the Canadian market. There is NO OTHER explanation that makes sense for Hardy to have EVER been given that shot. The people ruining mma is Zuffa and their lust for making more money. if you have a problem with Hardy being in the UFC or you don’t like the matchups you’re kind of pathetic. How does him being in the UFC affect your personal life that so many of you cry about it? He comes to fight, no matter what and he hasn’t lost to anybody that he necessarily should have beat. His worst loss was to Anthony Johnson, and Rumble is a monster look what he did to most he fought in the UFC. He was beating Lytle in that fight before he got caught and that was a fight of the night. He got kod by Condit who is the interim champ, and he lost to GSP in typical GSP fashion. You guys are ridiculous if you think they should just cut guys who lose a few fights in a row. I understand 4 is a lot, but he proved in his last fight by KOing a world class striker that he belongs. And for people who bash Amir. When is the last time he lost in a FIGHT, sure he got grinded on a few times. But Amir is another scrapper who fights, and he has literally had his whole career in the UFC, that is a rough assignment for a fighter you can’t expect him to just run to the top.
