Cyborg Responds To White: “Nobody has the right to accuse you without evidence”

Last week we reported on the heinous comments UFC President Dana White made about Cris Cyborg.

We then followed that up with a call to Cris and got the first response from the Invicta FC Champion.

Now we have a new statement from the female fighter, courtesy of Brazil’s Combate.

“Nobody has the right to accuse you without evidence. I have explained many times that the doping episode was an error during the weight loss for that fight, and it is our mistake and we evolved. Just because we are not perfect, we have no right to judge anyone.

Two years have passed since then, I have served my suspension, I resumed my career, I returned with the help of champion Tito Ortiz and George Prajin, who extended their hand when everyone else turned away from me.

And, finally, fought three times since, and was tested in two of the last three fights. Can test me today, tomorrow or whenever they want. I’m with a clear conscience. I cannot be judged for the rest of my life for a mistake I made two years ago. I do not want to remember my whole career by the only mistake I made.”

  1. Xaninho says:

WIthout evidence? Is she kidding or what?

  2. UFC 84 Forever says:

You already got caught. Don’t be stupid.

  3. John Thorpe says:

That’s my sweetheart right there ;)

  4. Gargoyle Wrestling says:

So she got caught using the stuff to lose weight. Cool. Just like, Belfort, Overeem, Bigfoot, Marquardt, Carwin, etc, etc…So what’s all the panty’s in a wad from the posters. Belfort cheated and he still fights with a legal PED!!. Why the crying?

  5. team backfist says:

I wonder if post-steroid affects women like it does men… Would she have a lasting benefit from using or not? If no, let her in. Financially speaking, she would only benefit WMMA popularity and Ronda will need fresh -legitimate- contenders after a few more fights.

    • JJErler says:

She’s had an open invitation to fight in the UFC at 135 since the division started. She doesn’t want to cut the weight. It’s her choice.

  6. irishfightguy says:

shes been caught…. she pissed hot, and just look at her. im sure gina carano worked jsut as hard in the gym as she did for that fight….. looka t pics of them side by side….one is a woman and the other is a needle with fists attached…go figure. dana speaking the truth.

  7. Beat Kaneda says:

Rousey has fought at 145 in the past. She dropped weight and clearly has a size advantage at 135lb. Admittedly she has world class Judo but her size and strength out weigh anyone in that division. She throws people about for fun and nothing else. Women’s stand up is pish and looks like a sloppy street fight at best of times. Cyborg has a boxers form, looks good and hits hard. Personally I think she’d wreck Rousey like Cain did Bigfoot. Straight up blow her away. The fight will never happen. Ronda knows Cyborg would never make 135. Dana White is a bell end and runs his mouth too often. The fact Ortiz is in Cyborgs camp is enough for Dana to chat shite. Rousey will continue to armbar weak ass opponents then run to Hollywood in favour of choreographed stunts and cheesy 1 liners. The UFC needs higher woman’s divisions. Woman’s MMA is popular when the fighters look fuckable. Rousey would look a mess after a Cyborg fight

  8. JJErler says:

So dana’s comments are heinous but her getting busted for roids and making excuses is just fine… great reporting bjpenn.com. Cheaters always make excuses when they get busted.

  9. Jayforthewin says:

Dana isn’t mad because of the PEDs he’s mad because Tito Ortiz is her manager, and Dana doesn’t want to give him any more credibility. :P It all has nothing to do with her.
