‘Cro Cop’ Is Back, Signs With Leading Kickboxing Promotion Glory

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, once one of the most feared heavyweights in all of Mixed Martial Arts, has now signed with the leading kickboxing promotion in the world, Glory.

After putting his MMA career on the sideburner, Filipovic had returned to his kickboxing roots, going 6-0 and winning the K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 championship in the process.

Now, Glory has confirmed that they have signed Filipovic and that he will be making his debut in March, likely in his home country of Croatia.

More details will surely be discussed in tonight’s Glory 12 event, which broadcasts on Spike at 9 P.M Eastern, 6 P.M. Pacific, and features a fight between Giorgio Petrosyan and Andy Ristie.
