Charlie Brenneman Released By UFC Following Consecutive Losses | UFC NEWS
One of the welterweight divisions top talents announced today via twitter that he has been released by the UFC following two-straight losses inside the Octagon.
After a last-minute booking and subsequent victory over the fast rising Rick Story, Charlie “The Spaniard” Brenneman catapulted his stock and rankings all within a night. However, in his post-Rick Story career “The Spaniard” dropped two-straight bouts making him just 1-3 over his last four.

That “descent” win you speak of over Story was a complete disgraceful display of LAY N PRAY where the fans BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOED non-stop for 15 minutes. And of course IDIOTS like you forget Story’s entire training camp was geared to fight Nate “THE CHEAT” Marquardt who everyone knows TESTED positive for massive levels of JUICE for the 5-6th time in his career and was FIRED. So Story agrees to fight someone OPPOSITE who he had trained for. Storys loss to brenneman was all Nate “THE CHEATS” fault. Story has fought much much better wrestlers than lay n pray Breneman. Story would beat Brennenman 9 out of 10 times if he had trained properly for a lay n prayer. Also the ref was horrible in that fight and allowed Brenneman to stall the entire fight.
Brenneman is a disgrace to MMA and all the REALFIGHTERS in world. I hope he will never again be aloowed to bore us REAL fans again

His last lost, was a premature stoppage in my opinion, but he had no chance to win it anyway.

Charlie sucks and is a bitch. All he does is complain everytime he loses. He is a boring fighter who slaps like a woman who just had her purse stolen. No chance he will be back in the UFC.
