Chael Sonnen Sues Mean Street Pizza Business Partner | UFC NEWS

The man who gained fame and popularity by ruffling people’s feathers is dealing with his own antagonist it seems, as UFC Light Heavyweight title contender Chael Sonnen is suing his business partner for $42,600. Sonnen and Lee Gamble oversee the West Linn Guys, LLC, through which they own a restaurant in West Linn, OR called Mean Street Pizza.
Sonnen’s suit claims that Gamble embezzled $20,000 and owes the UFC fighter another $22,600 personally from loans and unpaid rent. In addition to reclaiming his money, Sonnen’s suit, filed last month through the Clackamas County Circuit Court, seeks to remove Gamble from the Limited Liability Company.
With his UFC 159 title fight against 205 lbs. champ, Jon Jones, just two months away, we have to wonder if this may have any impact on Chael’s preparation. While it may have little effect on his training, it could dampen his usual vocal banter toward his opponent. Then again, Sonnen is a teacher of trash talking.
