Bj is a great fighter, great Jiu jitsu guy and overall fighter. That said, I dont think I have ever seen him win by sub with anything other than armbar or RNC. Why?? I mean with a toolbox like his, why??

BJ beat Ludwig with an arm triangle. He also had Hughes in a precarious position w/that variation of the triangle choke before the round ended in their second fight.
I think these 2 guys are just too well versed in BJJ to be out-grappled in this MMA match. I think BJ will hurt Diaz in the fight causing Diaz to give something up to BJ, either a TKO or Submission. I don’t think BJ will straight up out Jiu-Jitsu Diaz, but I think he can cause damage and put Diaz in a bad spot.
