Asked jake what he was doin, said he was training at imperial. didnt talk to jon because he was walking his dog at palmetto beach but im almost 100 percent sure that he trains with rashad still and that they are friends, its all fake.

Not every UFC fighter smokes, just like not every non-athlete smokes. I’m sure some do, but all of them? Gracie needs to just stfu and go train Diaz and not spout bullshit all day. “Oh…Uh…They have these things that mask it and uh…they all do it. But not Nick. Nope. He’s all truth!”
Actually, they do have stuff that masks it. Plus it’s a well-known fact that Diaz is crazy about his health so that story is very probable.
Since he tested positive, Tyson Griffin is the only other fighter that has been exposed for smoking (that I know of), but all the attention is still on Nick because of the appeal. I think this comment is attempting to divert fans’ impressions of marijuana use as related to Diaz by proving use is widespread and not strictly limited to a select few. It’s probably a sound tactic moving forward: Making it seem like it is normal among MMA personalities, so NSAC should neglect handing out severe sanctions and possibly rethink its whole stance on the issue.
That being said, Gracie may see a few other fighters smoking here and there, but I’m sure it’s not as many as he claims. I just don’t get that feeling with most fighters do it because I think you can usually tell. You look at Diaz though, you know he straight-up burns. I wouldn’t doubt that he naturally cleanses either.

Nick Diaz is the man, even with his emotional issues. Smoking weed should be a non issue for athletes. I don’t think UFC is flat out rigged like WWF. Sometimes I do wonder if it could be occasionally tilted like pro boxing. Some of the Japanese orgs were blatantly rigging fights. If the UFC does it I think it is more through the refs and judges than flat out dives.

I believe the laws should be changed to take into account the use of cannabis for medical reasons or even casual use.
