Mark Hunt, a New Zealand former mixed martial artist and kickboxer of Samoan descent who currently lives in Australia, has called out Dana White and the Fertitta brothers (Frank & Lorenzo) concerning his lawsuit against the UFC. Hunt, former title contender called out White and his associates for a three vs. one matchup, thereby settling his legal battles in an MMA bout.

In an appearance on ‘The MMA Hour’, Jorge Masvidal reacted to the news that UFC star Amanda Nunes has left American Top Team: “To see her progress is amazing. To see her progress under American Top Team, my same gym, it’s like wow! I never worked out with her or sparred or anything but to some extent, the journey that she had was like shared with me. It just definitely hurts not to have her there I think.” Masvidal said (h/t WMMARankings). “But man, I’m just always wishing the best for her. She’s going to do her own thing….Obviously, it hurts and obviously, I want her to stay at American Top Team and I think we all do, we all love her. So it’s like a… It’s a devastating blow.”

UFC heavyweight Ciryl Gane has denied that he was knocked out by rival Francis Ngannou in a previous training session. With UFC 270 being just over 24 hours away, it’s no surprise to see that the tension is really beginning to build between main eventers Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane. Both men would ideally prefer to focus their energy on the fight itself but with there being so many outside circumstances to consider, it’s near enough impossible for them not to get drawn into the chaos.

We sat down with Andres at his home in Albuquerque where he discussed his upcoming fight, the potential of making it to the UFC this year and how he was inspired by Nick Diaz. His last fight came with a bit of controversy. Andres made weight, however, his opponent missed, “there was a mixup on the tape and they had his stats listed under me and my stats listed under him.” Although he did get the win in a dominate performance Andres believes if he would have gotten the finish there would have been no questions asked. “I always look to finish and I believe if i would have finished him i’d be in the UFC.”
