Even though Bobby Green is taking a fight against Islam Makhachev on 10 days’ notice, Michael Bisping believes there’s a good chance “King” gets his hand raised. Green defeated Nasrat Haqparast by decision at UFC 271 on February 12 and not even a week later, he agreed to headline UFC Vegas 49 on February 19 as he will take on Islam Makhachev. He’s a massive underdog heading into the fight and not many are giving Green a chance, but Bisping believes the longtime UFC veteran has all the tools to upset Makhachev.

During his eight year stint in the UFC, he was considered amongst the most entertaining fighters in the promotion. He also challenged for gold on three different occasions, coming up short against Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

Alas, an injury to Dariush has ruled him out of the contest, with Bobby Green now stepping in on short notice to try and stop the surge of Makhachev.

Over the course of the last few weeks there’s been a lot of talk surrounding the future of Joe Rogan. The controversial podcaster and UFC commentator has come under fire for some of his previous remarks, with the backlash including a viral video of him saying the N-word over and over.

Self-defense “expert” Dale Brown has gone viral on social media over the past year for his unique techniques. He’s now taking his talents to the Octagon but as a cornerman for Joaquin Buckley. The St. Louis native is set to square off with Abdul Razak Alhassan on the main card at UFC Vegas 48 this weekend. Buckley seemingly needed another cornerman for his bout and decided the star of D.U.S.T. was the right man for the job.

Conor McGregor’s manager has revealed that he thinks ‘The Notorious’ could be fighting for UFC gold next. The former dual-weight champion has been out of the cage since his injury loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. The loss gave Conor McGregor three losses in his last four fights inside the cage. During that stretch, he also lost to Floyd Mayweather inside of the boxing ring in 2017.

Mike Perry and Julian Lane had their press conference for their BKFC bout this weekend. During the event, ‘Platinum’ pulled out a bat during a scuffle with his opponent.. The scuffle wasn’t the first time that the two sides clashed in public. In December, Perry was shown on the broadcast as a guest commentator after his singing to the promotion. Lane threw a water bottle at the former UFC talent and insulted him. Almost immediately, Perry jumped into the crowd and began brawling with Lane.

Since then, he was booked to fight Sean Strickland at UFC 268, but was forced out of the bout due to an injury. Now, the former champion says he wants to face Costa next, as long as the Brazilian can make weight.
