Magomed Ankalaev no longer has interest in a clash with Anthony Smith. Ankalaev took center stage in the main event of UFC Vegas 50. He shared the Octagon with Thiago Santos. Ankalaev emerged victorious via unanimous decision. He feels a UFC Light Heavyweight Title shot is in order.

Henry Cejudo has found a way to show how impressed he is by Song Yadong while also taking shots at Dominick Cruz. This past Saturday night (March 12), Yadong competed on the UFC Vegas 50 card. He went one-on-one with former title challenger Marlon Moraes. Yadong scored a first-round knockout win.

Chael Sonnen is convinced that the BMF Championship is being locked away for good. Back in Nov. 2019, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz headlined UFC 244 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. The welterweight clash was contested for the one-time-only BMF Championship. Masvidal won the fight via third-round TKO due to doctor’s stoppage.

The highly anticipated light heavyweight main event went the distance. Although Thiago Santos scored a knockdown in round two, it was the forward pressure and late wrestling of Magomed Ankalaev that proved to the difference. After five-rounds of battle the Russian standout who got his hand raised by way of unanimous decision.

Jacoby entered the fight with a foot injury that limited him throwing kicks, and he says for the first time in his career he thought about pulling out. However, he decided to take the fight and after landing a kick early, he realized he wouldn’t be able to throw another one for the rest of the fight.
