Castillo vs. Cholish Booked For UFC on FOX 3 Event
A lightweight addition to the UFC’s May event on Fox TV was announced by promotional officials yesterday in the form of Danny Castillo vs. John Cholish.
UFC on FOX 3 is set to take place in New Jersey from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford on May 5. In the main event lightweights Nate Diaz and Jim Miller will throw down in a five-round non-title fight.
Castillo has shown improvement since entering the UFC from the ranks of the new defunct WEC promotion. After dropping a decision loss to Jacob Volkmann the Team Alpha Male product will enter his fourth UFC bout on the heels of a two-fight win streak.
Cholish will be fighting in his hometown against Castillo. The team Renzo Gracie fighter entered the UFC this past December at UFC 140 where he was able to notch a victory over Mitch Clarke on the preliminary portion of the card. He brings in an eight-fight win streak to the bout on FOX.
UFC on FOX 3 is shaping up and the following are confirmed for the card:

John Hathaway vs. Pascal Krauss
John Dodson vs. Darren Uyenoyama
Danny Castillo vs. John Cholish
Mike Massenzio vs. Karlos Vemola
Louis Gaudinot vs. John Lineker
