Camozzi vs Roberts Booked For UFC 150 | UFC NEWS
Chris Camozzi is coming home; he will now fight in his hometown against fellow middleweight contender Buddy Roberts. The two will clash at UFC 150 in August live from Denver’s Pepsi Center.
Chris Camozzi (17-5) has won his last two visits to the Octagon and is looking gain some title attention with an impressive victory over Roberts. After a guillotine choke victory over Dustin Jacoby, Camizzo stopped Nick Catone via TKO at UFC on FX: Maynard vs Guida.
Buddy Roberts is a new comer and is making his second appearance in the Octagon. Roberts (12-2) scored a decision victory in his first UFC fight over Caio Magalhaees at UFC on FX 2. The Team Jackson product has won six fights in a row and is looking to gain some ground in the middleweight division.
UFC Officials announced today that the verbal agreements for the fight were in place for the fight.
The main event of UFC 150 features a lightweight fight between Frankie Edgar and Benson Henderson.
