It was announced today that a middleweight bout between Cezar “Mutant” Ferreira (5-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and C.B. Dollaway (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) has been added to the UFC on FX 8 card set for May.

Ferreira most recently won “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” in 2012, where he scored a decision victory over Sergio Moraes in the tournament final. The victory over Moraes marked Ferreira’s first career decision win and also improved his record to 4-1 over the past 3 years.

“The Ultimate Fighter 7″ runner-up, C.B. Dolloway, most recently earned a hard-fought split-decsion win over Daniel Sarafia in a “Fight of the Night” co-headliner at UFC on FX 7 in January. Dolloway has now put together back to back wins for the first time since 2010, this after suffering set backs to Mark Munoz and Jared Hamman respectively.

UFC on FX 8 takes place May 18 at Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The events main card airs live on FX following prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.
