Broughton vs Mitrione Off UFC On Fox 4 Card | UFC NEWS

A UFC heavyweight matchup between “The Ultimate Fighter 10″ standout Matt Mitrione (5-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and Rob Broughton (15-7-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has been taken off the Aug. 4, UFC on Fox 4 Card.

Broughton was removed from the bout due to personal matters. It is currently unknown if the UFC will be able to find a replacement opponent for Mitrione, who is coming off a unanimous-decision loss to Cheick Kongo at UFC 137 in October.

The UFC on FOX 4 lineup as of now includes:

MAIN CARD (FOX)
Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Brandon Vera
Ryan Bader vs. Lyoto Machida
Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell
Joe Lauzon vs. Jamie Varner

    How is Bader vs. Machida not the main event? Brandon Vera? Seriously? I am pretty sure Shogun has lost 2 in a row, although the fight with Henderson was epic.

      I totally agree with you dude. Rua Vs. Vera should be awesome, however Machida Vs Bader is a fight between two fighters that are better ranked. Should be great anyway.

    Travis Brown vs Matt Mitrione why not both lost there fight for this card due to injury or personal matters match them up I know Brown is coming off a win does anyone else have a better idear
