Jake Paul is telling UFC fighters to ‘wake up’ after Donald Cerrone revealed his fight purse from Conor McGregor bout. ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone (36-17 MMA) retired from the UFC in July of 2022 after going down to defeat against Jim Miller (37-17 MMA) at UFC 276. Prior to that loss, the veteran fighter had been on a turbulent losing streak for the past three years, going down to defeat against the likes of Tony Ferguson, Justin Gaethje, Conor McGregor, Anthony Pettis and Alex Morono.

Former UFC title challenger Jorge Masvidal wants to show boxing the respect it deserves. ‘Gamebred’ officially came out of retirement earlier this year. Now, that didn’t come as a huge shock, given the fact that Jorge Masvidal has teased a return to fighting for a while now. Last April, the former UFC title challenger retired after a lopsided unanimous decision defeat to Gilbert Burns in Miami.

It appears that boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is unhappy with Manny Pacquiao’s announcement in December. At RIZIN 45 late last year, Manny Pacquiao was in attendance. Midway through the show, the previously retired boxer headed into the ring alongside promoter Nobuyuki Sakakibara. There, the former eight-division champion confirmed plans to fight in 2024 and even announced plans to rematch Floyd Mayweather.

Former Bellator heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko wants a boxing match with Francis Ngannou. ‘The Last Emperor’ is in a bit of a weird spot. Last year, the Russian retired from MMA following a first-round knockout loss to Bellator heavyweight champion, Ryan Bader. For Fedor Emelianenko, the defeat was his second to ‘Darth Bader’, and he retired post-fight.

The victory was Canelo Alvarez’s third in a row, previously defeating John Ryder and Gennadiy Golovkin. Months on from the super middleweight champion’s latest win, he will reportedly fight his last opponent’s brother, Jermall Charlo.

Lopez and Ortiz had a lackluster fight inside the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada this past Thursday night. There wasn’t much offense in this one, as Ortiz was on his bicycle and Lopez couldn’t cut off the ring. This made for a bout that very few fight fans will want to remember. In the end, this one went the distance and Lopez was awarded the unanimous decision win, retaining his WBO junior welterweight gold in the process.
