Conor McGregor reacts to news of Muhammad Ali ‘s death

Friday evening, tragic news surfaced that boxing icon Muhammad Ali had passed away after being placed on life support earlier in the day.

Immediately the MMA community began mourning Ali, who will live on as one of the most influential men in combat sports.

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, who is often compared to Ali, as well as Mike Tyson, posted to Instagram regarding Ali’s death.

Nobody will ever come close to this mans greatness. And if they do, they better wake up and apologise. #RIPAli #TheGreatest
