Floyd Mayweather

Come at the king, you best not miss…

“2018… Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather… MMA… What’re the odds, paddy? What’re the odds?”

Talk of boxing icon and legend, Floyd Mayweather stepping foot into an MMA octagon has been discussed dating back to the beginning of the Mayweather vs Conor McGregor rumors before the fight even became official. Yesterday, Mayweather teased us with an actual video of him stepping into an MMA cage at Syndicate MMA.

“I can come right back,” Mayweather said during an Instagram live video. “If I want to, I can come right back to the UFC. I can go fight in the Octagon. I can do a three or four-fight deal in the Octagon and make a billion dollars. Remember, I’m Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, and you motherf*ckers love me, and I love you motherf*ckers.”

Of course, after comments of such high claims prompted the UFC President, Dana White to respond and confirm that the promotion has discussed the possibility of Mayweather fighting in the octagon…

“We’re talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal,” White told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. “It’s real. He was talking about boxing Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren’t real? He usually tips his hand when he’s in the media and then that sh*t ends up happening.”

Mayweather last fought this past Summer when he came out of retirement to face the current UFC lightweight champion, McGregor in a boxing match. It was his first fight in two years and ended up being his fiftieth career victory when he finished McGregor by tenth-round TKO.

Along with Mayweather’s videos have also been responses from his last opponent, McGregor…who appears to in fact want a rematch with the legendary boxer.

Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son. Yours sincerely, Senior.

Fuck the Mayweathers.
