Strikeforce announced a lightweight matchup between Bobby Green and Matt Ricehouse. ”Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman” takes place Aug. 18 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. The bout is expected to take place on the preliminary portion of this month’s event.
Bobby Green is currently riding a 3 fight winning streak, most recently defeating James Terry via split decision at ‘Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier’ in May. Matt Ricehouse last fought at ‘Strikeforce Challengers: Britt vs. Sayers’ in November 2011 where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Bill Cooper.
