It’s crazy to think that we have made it to show 200. It has definitely been a roller coaster of fights, interviews, memories, and emotion. I personally can’t thank you enough to everyone who has helped make this dream of mine a reality. I want to thank all the fighters, promoters, ring girls, and other media personalities who have given us countless hours of their times and shared their lives, careers, and opinions with us. I also need to thank everyone who has helped out with this show behind the scenes Drew this show wouldn’t be this show without you, Denny thanks for riding shotgun on most shows, Juan and Meghan you guys have taught me a lot about what I have done wrong in the past, and everyone from all the sites that hosted us before BJPenn.com and to the Penn family and crew here at BJPenn.com for the support. But most importantly Thank You to everyone who has listened to the show, retweeted our tweets, liked our facebook pages, and supported us. Without you guys none of this would have been possible. Here’s to another 200 shows and again Thank You for making this dream a reality. -Anton Skoro
This week we had to make sure that we brought you a show to look back on a year from now and remember the interviews as well as the names of the men who stopped in on one of our most memorable shows to date. Opening up the first hour of the show is a man who truly exemplifies the meaning of a Martial Artist and understands the way of the peaceful warrior. Our second guest is a man whose name you will want to remember is kicking off the show and getting ready to set his mark on the world of Pro MMA. Then kicking off hour two our man from Fight Master back talking his time on the show and this Wednesday’s episode and what you missed.
Our first guest is a man who truly lives the Bushido lifestyle. There are few men that I would say were born in the wrong era and Enson Inoue might be one of them. If you have ever seen Enson fight you realize that he enters the cage fully prepared to never leave. Enson is a warrior unlike most athletes in this sport, he truly is the samurai of MMA. We will talk with Enson about his amazing career, the highlights for him inside the cage and outside on his journey in the world of MMA. If you follow Enson you also realize that his heart extends much further outside the cage. Enson is preparing for a journey that most would never think about doing let alone committing to it. Enson will begin his walk on Sept. 11 and cover approximately 1,360 miles, going through cities including Sapporo, Fukushima, Osaka, and Hiroshima. The entire journey, Inoue said, will take approximately three months. We will talk to Enson about this journey, what gave him the idea to do this, the destruction that North Japan is still suffering from, and more. Enson is one of the men inside of MMA that you never want to miss an interview with, now get over to Twitter and follow him @EnsonInoue
“Brandon Frunk” (Stop reading this and go grab a pen and paper and write that name down…) you won’t want to forget the name. Brandon is an amateur prospect coming out of Alliance MMA in Chula Vista, CA. You have already know for us to bring a man with out a single pro fight onto show 200 he must have potential. Brandon finished his career as the Xplode Fight Series Champ. We will talk to Brandon about his amateur career, training at Alliance with some of the best in the world, and partaking in the inaugural MMA Draft. Tune in early on this very special show to become familiar with a man whose name you will be hearing in the sport for a very long time. Make sure to follow Brandon on Twitter @brandon_frunk as he just signed up this week.
AJ Matthews is back and ready to talk about everything related to this last weeks episode of Bellator’s reality show “Fight Master.” This week we see Joe Riggs having to really work hard to make it to the 170 lb fight limit. We will talk with AJ about the things you didn’t see in this weeks episode, and also about things like having to maintain your weight in the warehouse for fights, and how hard it was for him. This week we will get to see two fights and talk to AJ about the fights and who knows what else will happen on this episode of Fight Master. Follow AJ on Twitter at @AJ_MMA
