Podcast- #11 BJPENN.COM RADIO: Benson Henderson,Anthony “Rumble”Johnson, Nate Quarry,Shane Nelson and Mark Pavelich

Joining hosts Mitch Ciccarelli & Bryan Levick this week is another all-star cast including BJ Penn training partner Shane Nelson who will make his debut for MFC on October 26th against Graham Spencer in the organizations first featherweight bout.

Nate “Rock” Quarry will take time out of his busy schedule to chat with Mitch & Bryan. Quarry is currently retired from fighting, but is busier than ever. He is one of three hosts of Spike TV’s MMA Uncensored which airs on Thursday nights at 11pm eastern. Quarry is also the founder of the popular comic. Zombie Cage Fighter.

Outspoken and hardworking MFC President Mark Pavelich will talk about MFC 35 and his upcoming plans for 2013. Pavelich is always entertaining and much like Dana White he has no filter and will say whatever is on his mind.

Last, but certainly not least we will be joined by the UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson. Smooth is preparing to defend his title against Nate Diaz in the main event of the dynamic UFC on Fox 5 card which will take place on December 8th from Seattle. Henderson came into the UFC from the WEC and has won all five of his bouts including  two against former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar.

The UFC announced this week that UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will defend his title against Chael Sonnen in April after the pair coach the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter. The show will air on FX beginning in January and will be moved from its current Friday night slot to a new day during the week. FX executives have yet to decide what day the show will air.

As usual the show will begin promptly at 6:30pm Eastern.
