BJPENN.COM Bantamweight Top 10 (Updated 10/11/11)

The world top 10 bantamweight rankings according to the panel at BJPENN.COM consist of all UFC talent.
Dominic Cruz is the current UFC bantamweight champion and as such gets the number one seat on our rankings system. With his most recent title defense at UFC on Versus 6 over “Mighty Mouse” Johnson he has more than earned his spot atop the division.
Slight changes have been made to the rankings since our last publication. Your top four bantamweight fighters remain the same, however Demetrious Johnson edged out Scott Jorgenson, to claim the last spot in the top five which bumps Jorgenson down to the six position.
With his recent win over Cole Escovedo, Mizugaki takes Wineland’s nine spot and Wineland, who has dropped his last two fights to top five talent, gets bumped down to the last spot in our top 10 rankings.
The BJPENN.COM staff has analyzed recent activity and all around performance inside professional competition and broke down to the 10 bantamweight in MMA as follows:
1: Dominic Cruz (UFC BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION)

3: Joseph Benavidez
4: Brian Bowles
5: Demetrious Johnson

nice list
Bull shit list
How come your list does not echo what the article says?
Ex. The article says Mizugaki is number nine, but the list shows him in the number ten spot.
Fixed – Thank you!
i love benavidaz but johnson should be at number 3.
Thats accurate I think…
Am I the only one who thinks faber is overrated?
After he faces Brian Bowles we shall see who is overrated.
I also think faber is overrated
in his earlier fights he looked great but since aldo kicked his ass i dont think hes shown a lot either
I think he slowed down after Mike Brown beat him twice. He is a tough fight for anybody though.
I think 4 or 5 people on that list would beat him IMHO…Torres, Benavidez, Pickett, maybe DJ and obviously we’ll find out about bowles soon.
