Bisping on Munoz: I’m going to kick his ass

Michael Bisping (24-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) is preparing to take on Mark Munoz (13-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) in a bout that will serve as the main event for the UFC’s return to England on October 26.

“The Count” has never been shy when voicing exactly how he plans to defeat an opponent, as he did on last night’s episode of UFC Tonight:

“He’s a great wrestler, but I think he’s one dimensional. Anybody who refers to themselves as having a Donkey Kong style, I refuse to lose to. I’m far too skilled for him. He’s going to try to take me to the ground and use these stupid punches that he throws. He’s very powerful and I’m not underestimating him. He’s a very accomplished wrestler. Listen, I’m going to punch him in the face repeatedly and eventually he’s going to fall down. On October 26, I’m going to kick his ass, and no one’s even going to think about him anymore. If they thought he was depressed before, on October 27, the day after the fight, he’s going to be really more depressed then.”

  1. Is Bisping following the Chael hype blueprint? says:

or does he really hate Munoz? The both train in SoCal…has their paths crossed there?

  2. magoo says:

Munoz looked great against boetsch, both on the feet and on the ground, I don’t see you kicking any arse let alone Munozs!

  3. ThaGreenBandit says:

Munoz was fighting like his next meal depended on him winning his last fight, and as hungry as he is, I only see him getting even nastier in his next fight. Call me crazy, but I see him handing out a Donkey Kong style “arse” whippin’, and giving Bis the biz.

  4. Dddddddd says:

I’ve underestimated Bisping too many times. I would think Munoz could manhandle him if he could get a hold of him
But Bisping moves a lot better. I see this looking somewhat like Rory vs. Jake. These boxers with a good jab and sweet footwork are finding their niche against wrestlers. When Munoz gets stifled by Bisping he’ll tense up and gas.
    Bisping 29/28 on all cards.

  5. Heath says:

Hope Munoz Dan Hendersons his ass…

  6. 123 says:

    hahaha, no.

  7. Nate "THE CHEAT" marquardt (ROID CHEAT) says:

Munoz knows he will need a finish to beat Bisping in Britain because even if he beats the hell out of Bisping for 3-5 rounds like Hamill did he will never win a decision in Britain

Munoz will take out Bisping one way or another

  8. 757 says:

He is going to kick Munoz ass? Or get seperated from his senses like he did against Hendo, or kicked directly in his face and put on his ass like he did against Vitor, or drug around the mat like he did against Sonnen, or get nearly choked out and knocked out only to get saved by the horn against Wand, lastly to get his ass whipped by Hammil and steal a decision. Well….. I guess by Dana standards he is ready for a title shot! Munoz by knockout. All you have to do is tap him on that egg shell jaw and it’s nighty night.

  9. Dolce says:

Lol so you’ve basically just gone through his defeats as good as. And Chael admitted he thought Bisping should have won their fight. & wish people would stop going on about that Hamill fight, it was ages ago! He’s a good fighter but yes he’s a points score winner not known for his tko ability, but he’s hardly going to say, “I’m going to go out & out point score this guy with a vengeance!” You muppets.

  10. 757 says:

    Muppets? ouch that really hurts.

  11. GOT RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

Bisping is the most overrated fighter in all MMA and always has been
