Bisping Injured, Machida Moved To Fight Night 30, Will Face Munoz In Main Event

Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping has been forced off the UFC Fight Night 30 card with an undisclosed injury.

In for Bisping comes, debuting middleweight, Lyoto Machida.

Machida was originally slated to face off with Tim Kennedy in the main even of the UFC’s Fight for the Troops event set for November 6th, but with the vacancy left by Bisping the UFC has moved the former light-heavyweight champion to this card.

UFC Fight Night 30 is set to go down from the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom on October 26. In the main event Mark Munoz will welcome his sometimes training partner and former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida, to the UFC’s middleweight division.

UFC officials stated that a replacement opponent for Tim Kennedy is currently being sought after.

Wow, Machida against another wrestler? Dana White must really despise Lyoto. ~Bob’O

  2. KIDD433 says:

Hate to break it to u there Bob’o, but Machida has smashed a lot of wrestlers in his career, even beat Phil Davis had he not been robbed.

    • Nate "THE ROID CHEAT" Marquardt says:

Its obvious Bisping wanted out of the Munoz fight. Bisping did the same thing when he heard Stann dropped out of the Lombard fight and he knew he Lombard would be calling him out because Bisping was scheduled to fight Boetsch on the same card so Bisping dropped out of Boetsch fight within 12 hours of Stann drpping out of Lombard fight. All it is posturing using BULLSH’t exaggerated injuries to get an easier fight. The ufc will probably call Ross Pointton or Charles Mccarthy to fight Bisping and announce that winner gets a title shot.

Bisping is just an overrated backpeddling, pillow fisted yellow tooth Brit with big a’s mouth who is and lways will be the most overrated point fighter in UFC history

    • Nate "THE ROID CHEAT" Marquardt says:

I wish everyone would quit crying about Machida getting robbed in Davis fight. I mean he ahs noon to blame but himself by retreating backwards 90% of the time and NOONE was robbed worse than Shogun was in the first Machida fight.

  4. 757 says:

Actually this is a bad match up for Munoz. He will get knocked out here. He would have smashed Bisping though
