Heading back down to the middleweight division following a brave attempt to dethrone Jon Jones, Vitor Belfort is now scheduled to meet Michael Bisping in a middleweight clash in January.

The two stand out fighters will look to edge their way closer to a shot at Anderson Silva’s middleweight title during the UFC on FX 7 event.

Yeah i can understand these numbers, mostly because Vitor have faces both AS and JJ, where he in the latter almost pulled off submission. But honestly bisping have a very solid chance of winning this, bisping will punch vitor really hard in his face repeatedly. Vitor is tough for sure but bisping is not an underdog like he usually is projected as when he gets compared to high caliber fighters. This britt can still get a title shot and maybe even shock and win, i dont see that as reaching too much at all

This is a real MW fight. fuck yeah.

  3. Dick Diaz says:

slight edge?!?! guy should be heavy favorite…

  4. 123 says:

its a 5 round fight so i think michael bisping will win by tko.. he would beat most middleweights in 5 round fights.

  5. Lee vox says:

    Bisping is overrated…

I know one thing thats i could call the odds on for sure and that is there is a 100% FOR SURE probability that Bisping will run away from Belfort. Oh thats right when Bisping runs away it called back peddling and its ok with judges but if otehr fighters do the same thing they lose decisions going backwards for 15 minutes. I hope a healthy 100% Vitor shows up and does a Hendo KO repeat on Bisping. If Jacare, Rockhold, were part of UFC rankings Bisping still wouldn’t have a win over a top 10 opponent. Also if marquardt hadn’t drop down he would school Bisping to.

Lee vox hit the nail on the head. Until Bisping actually beats a (TRUE) top 5 opponent he should not get a title shot. No doubt in my mind Vitor Belcher, weidman, Boetsch, Lombard, Franklin, Okami, Palharis, Jacare, Rockhold (after January) would school Bisping. Yes I know UFC will make sure 9 out of 10 of these fights never happens. Even a healthy Munoz would Ko Bisping. I hope the UFC brings in Larkin from strikeforce because he is the type of fighter the UFC may overlook and give Bisping and we could see a bigtime KO. Too bad Mousasai only fights at a his walk around weight because he is easily top 5 MW in world. Mousasi would KO Bisping inside 5 minutes after he chased him down

@ GET RID OF FITCH! before bisping fought stann u were saying stann would kill bisping and higer ranked lmao.. u seriously have not got a clue your comments on here are rubbish. bisping is a good fighter everyone in the year 2012 knows this.. I think your stuck in the past bisping keeps getting better and he still has atleast 6 yyears in the sport hahahahahahahahahaha

  9. GET RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

Stann probably would have KO’d Bisping but he ran away. No way Bisping would beat Weidman, Vitor, Lombard, Boetsch, Okami, Belcher, Franklin, Palharis, Philipou, but we probably will never get to see most of those fights. If Bisping actually fights and doesn’t runa way (AS USUAL) Vitor will lay him out cold just like Hendo did. BTW Stann isn’t a TRUE top 10 because if Jacare and Rockhold were in UFC no way Stann makes the top 10 ranking so in away Bisping still hasn’t beaten a top 10 opponent
