Betting Odds: Machida Opens Up As Early Favorite Over Dan Henderson | UFC NEWS

At a yet to me named UFC event, top light-heavyweight fighters Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida will square off to determine the UFC’s true number-one contender to the title currently held by Jon Jones.
For their parts both Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida have already earned their shot at the crown, but with a Hendo injury and Machida’s refusal to step up on short notice they must now face each other in order to shorten the title contention line.
Oddsmakers over at BestFightOdds have just released the betting line for this UFC Future event and have pegged Machida as the favorite.

Don’t know if I’d agree with those odds. Both fighters are great, but style wise does it make sense to put Machida as a heavy favorite?
yeah makes total sense idiot
Totally agree, as great as Hendo is, he’s an aging fighter coming off a knee injury. It would be different story if it was Machida against Hendo in his prime. That H-bomb still packs a lot of power but it won’t be difficult for Machida to avoid it. Machida will have a significant edge in the stand up by virtue of being younger and quicker. Machida by TKO in the 3rd.
even in his prime machida is bad match up for hendo
hendo is highly unlikely gonna get ko’d by machida.
Get your money in now on machida, that line won’t last.
i think Machida should be a bigger favorite than that.
Machida is gunna kick hendos leg off, this fight is going to be all bad. Hendo needs to hang up the gloves n ice that knee after his loss to machida.
i don’t see hendo landing that big power punch on machida.
You made a number of nice points there. I did a search on the issue and found most people will agree with your blog.
